My client is looking for a seasoned Lead Java Developer with expertise in Java, Spring framework, AWS Cloud, Docker, Kubernetes and Microservices development, amongst others. You will be responsible for the development of API-based digital solutions while working in a high-performing software development team.

Lead Java Developer – Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop applications through the full SDLC in a DevOps environment.
• Develop low-level design for API’s.
• Create Unit and Integration tests and manage PI Gateways, Web Servers and Message Queues.
• Take part in Code Reviews and peer programming.
• Test, Debug, and troubleshoot applications as necessary.

Lead Java Developer – Required Experience:

• 10+ years’ experience of hands-on development of Java-based applications.
• Strong experience on Spring modules (Core, MVC, Springboot, AOP, Web Flow).
• Demonstrable experience building REST API’s with a knowledge of Microservices-based architecture.
• Previous experience working with Cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) on large-scale migrations.
• Experience with application containers e.g. Docker, Kubernetes.
• Knowledge and experience of working with CI/CD pipelines using tools such as Jenkins, Ansible, and Git.
